Erick Widman, Executive Director
Erick is convinced that we all need to get to know each other better. This is an incredibly enriching experience for everyone involved and your life will be better for it. After law school, Erick taught at the Budapest College of Economics for a year in 2000. He was in-house counsel at a company in Silicon Valley where he handled immigration compliance. He is the founding attorney of Passage Immigration Law and the Executive Director of Immigrant Assist.
Melissa Slotemaker, Director of Operations
Melissa desires to see people engaged in their communities and helping those in need. Before helping to start Immigrant Assist, she worked in the field of urban planning. As a City Planner, she guided people within communities to connect to the built and natural environments around them. She now hopes to strengthen our communities by helping immigrants and citizens build meaningful connections with one another.
